Ahead of the waiver deadline of 11am GMT, tomorrow – here is a quick look at the best players to pick up. We use the FPL Draft Hub Global Dashboard to select the players which have low ownership, meaning there is a strong chance they are available in your league.
We will show you the ownership percentages for the main league sizes so the data is relevant to you.
A look at the @BenCrellin fixture planner
In a condensed FPL season, fixtures are forever chopping and changing, resulting in more blank and double gameweeks than ever.
@BenCrellin has handily put together a public sheet which predicts, with varying degrees of certainty, where the fixtures will lie. This is very useful in planning your FPL Draft waivers and the full sheet can be found here.
Based on the next 5 gameweeks shown above, we are going to look at available players from teams with favourable fixtures.
Mings, Konsa & Targett
Looking at the schedule above, there is a chance that Aston Villa have 7 fixtures in the next 5 gameweeks. 5 of these are against opposition in the bottom half of the table and three of them are against Newcastle, Sheffield United and Fulham. No matter which way you look at it, there is a chance that Mings, Konsa and Targett pick up 4 or more clean sheets.
|League Ownership (%)||Tyrone Mings||Ezri Konsa||Matt Targett|
|8 Person League||62%||33%||51%|
|9 Person League||88%||67%||80%|
|10 Person League||95%||82%||87%|
|12 Person League||99%||92%||92%|
With 4 assists in his last 4 games, Luke Shaw is in a rich vein of form. Man Utd’s fixtures are a mixed bag, with them coming up against Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Man City, West Ham and Brighton. However, we expect Man Utd to be competitive in every game they play – if 2 clean sheets are kept in the next 5 games, as well as any attacking potential, waivering in Luke Shaw could mean points!
|League Ownership (%)||Luke Shaw|
|8 Person League||49%|
|9 Person League||81%|
|10 Person League||86%|
|12 Person League||93%|
Keane, Holgate & Godfrey
Everton have had a tough few weeks of results, but we must bear in mind the teams they were playing against (Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd) a DGW26 which has the potential for many returns, against Southampton and West Brom. In GW28 Everton are definitely playing Burnley but may also play Aston Villa. The prospect of these fixtures means there is a high potential for some clean sheets for the 3 nailed on Everton defenders.
Depending on the size of your league, one or more of these players will be available to pick up in your league.
|League Ownership (%)||Michael Keane||Mason Holgate||Ben Godfrey|
|8 Person League||42%||3%||1%|
|9 Person League||72%||7%||4%|
|10 Person League||82%||11%||6%|
