Liverpool make it two wins from two pre-season outings with a 3-1 victory over Bradford City.

Liverpool suffer a first defeat of their pre-season programme as they go down to a 3-2 defeat tp Borussia Dortmund in Notre Dame.
The German side took a third-minute lead through Paco Alcacer, but the Reds restored parity via Harry Wilson.
However, Dortmund went 3-1 in front after the break through a quick-fire double from Thomas Delaney and Jacob Bruun Larsen, rendering Rhian Brewster’s late penalty a consolation.
Liverpool 1-2 Sevilla
Sun 21st Jul 2019
Goalscorers: Origi (44)
A game that you couldn’t really call a ‘friendly’ ends with the win going to Sevilla courtesy of Pozo’s last-minute goal.
Nolito and Origi had traded efforts in the first half at Fenway Park, where Gnagnon was sent off for a nasty foul on Larouci that resulted in the Liverpool left-back being stretchered off.

Goalscorers: Origi (20), Wijnaldum (44)
Liverpool are held to a draw by Sporting at Yankee Stadium in the Western Union Cup.
They fell behind to Bruno Fernandes’ early strike, but recovered to go into half-time with a 2-1 lead thanks to strikes from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum.
However, Marcus Wendel equalised in the early stages of the second period to ensure spoils were shared in New York as Jürgen Klopp’s side concluded their United States tour.

Jürgen Klopp’s men now move on to Evian for a training camp and face Lyon in Geneva on Wednesday.
Liverpool 3 – 1
31st Jul 2019
Stade de Geneve
Goalscorers: Firmino (17), Andersen, OG (21), Wilson (53)
It’s all over and an impressive display sees Liverpool make a welcome return to winning ways ahead of Sunday’s FA Community Shield clash with Manchester City.
The Reds had to overcome the early setback of conceding a fourth-minute penalty to Memphis Depay, with Roberto Firmino’s excellent finish levelling matters before an own goal by Lyon’s Joachim Andersen put Jürgen Klopp’s team ahead.
Harry Wilson then completed the scoring with a stunning long-range drive in the early stages of the second half on a satisfying evening when Alisson Becker, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Mohamed Salah and Firmino all made their returns.
